I’m going to start this off by saying, we loved our trip. I don’t think we would go on a cruise again, but it was beautiful and we enjoyed our time in the Bahamas.
The weather wasn’t too ideal in January. The wind was so strong that we weren’t able to go to one of the islands, which was really disappointing. After 2 days straight on the ship, we spent 2 days in Nassau instead. We were both really grateful when we pulled up to Nassau. We were starting to feel really claustrophobic and stir crazy. However, it was nice to spend a couple days straight on land because we were able to explore a little more.
Royal Caribbean was wonderful. The dinners were amazing! The duck, seafood and fancy appetizers were to die for and we had the most amazing group of people at our table. We looked forward to dinner with our newfound friends every day.
We spent almost a full day exploring the Atlantis resort, which is just straight up insane. Their aquarium was full of hammer head sharks and lobsters the size of golden retrievers. Their beach was private, so no one was bombarding us & trying to sell us cigars. I wish the wind would have calmed down for just a minute so we could have spent a little more time at the beach. It was still beautiful to watch.
I didn’t take too many photos, because I really just wanted to enjoy some down time with Clint and really unplug.
Without further ado, our cruise.
